For trucking and logistics

Fuel is paid at the pump. Drivers are paid Friday. The load is paid in sixty days.

Every cost in trucking lands immediately and every dollar of revenue lands late. That's the whole business problem, and it's why so many carriers end up handing a slice of every load to a factor just to keep the lights on between settlement and payment.

Some of that gap is the broker's terms, and you can't change those. A surprising amount of it is paperwork and follow-up, and you can.

CollectIQ · invoicing, collections and payment for carriers, freight brokers and logistics operators

Where loads actually get stuck

Most unpaid freight invoices aren't disputes. They're incomplete or forgotten.

A carrier running five trucks and turning $120,000 a month who shortens average payment by ten days frees up roughly $40,000 of working capital. That's money you already earned, arriving sooner — not money you borrowed.

What CollectIQ does about it

Closes the delays that are inside your control, automatically.

Billing

Invoices go out with the documents attached

POD, BOL, lumper receipts and accessorial backup ride along with the invoice, so it reaches AP complete the first time instead of sitting in someone's pile.

Follow-up

Chasing runs on its own schedule

A nudge before the due date, then an escalating sequence after it. Everything stops the moment payment arrives, so you never chase a broker who already paid.

Priority

You see which brokers to call first

Open loads are ranked by likelihood to pay, not by age. When you've got twenty minutes between dispatch calls, you spend them on the invoice most likely to close.

Payment

Card or bank, straight to your account

Every invoice carries a payment page. Brokers and direct shippers pay by card or ACH through Stripe and the money lands in your bank. CollectIQ never holds it.

Disputes

Dated proof of what you sent

Every invoice, document, reminder and reply is logged with a timestamp. When detention gets questioned, you show the record instead of digging through an inbox.

Hard cases

Payment plans before write-offs

When a broker is genuinely short, CollectIQ drafts a structured plan for you to approve. Paid over eight weeks beats never paid at all.

What the AI does, and what it doesn't

AI drafts each follow-up in your company's voice with the load number, amount and due date already in it, and ranks which open invoices are worth your attention. You approve anything before it sends.

It doesn't decide what counts as overdue, when to escalate, or what a payment plan may offer. Those run on fixed rules, because a broker who challenges you deserves the same answer every time and an explanation you can point at.

Factoring, quick pay, or this

What carriers normally do about slow freight payment, and what each one costs.

OptionWhat it costs youWhat you give up
Freight factoring Typically 1–5% of every load, permanently A third party owns the receivable and contacts your brokers about it
Broker quick pay Commonly 2–5% off the rate for faster payment Margin on every load you take it on, load after load
Collection agency 25–40% of what they recover The broker relationship. Agencies are for loads you've written off
CollectIQ Flat monthly fee plus 2% on invoices recovered through the platform Nothing — you keep the relationship and the full rate you booked

The 2% applies only to invoices paid through CollectIQ, never to loads that go uncollected. Card and bank processing is separate and passed through at Stripe's cost.

Questions carriers ask

How is this different from freight factoring?
Factoring sells the invoice at a discount, on every load, forever — and the factor, not you, is the one talking to your broker. CollectIQ doesn't buy your invoices. You keep the full rate the broker pays, minus a flat subscription and 2% on what the platform recovers. Factoring fixes cash today; this is meant to make you need it less often.
Does this replace our TMS or dispatch software?
No. CollectIQ sits after dispatch, on the invoice-to-payment side. It doesn't plan loads, assign drivers or track equipment — it handles the invoice, the paperwork that has to go with it, the follow-up and the payment.
Some brokers only accept invoices through their own portal.
You still submit through their portal. CollectIQ tracks the invoice, runs the follow-up schedule and logs every contact — so a portal broker gets chased on the same cadence as everyone else instead of slipping because the submission happened somewhere else.
Can it help with detention and accessorial disputes?
Indirectly, but usefully. Every invoice, document, reminder and reply is dated and logged. When a broker trims detention, you can show exactly what was submitted and when, instead of reconstructing it from an inbox weeks later.
We only run a few trucks. Is this too much system?
The Solo plan is $99 a month and handles up to 75 active accounts, which covers most small fleets. If recovering one $300 detention claim a month would pay for it, it's worth the 30-day trial.
Will brokers know we're using software?
Reminders go out under your company name, from your address, in your voice. Nothing is branded CollectIQ to your customers.
